My Students

My classroom is full of capable, caring, and courageous students known as the Kindernauts. They have embraced distance learning to the best of their ability and show up every day despite internet and technology issues. Recently, our district announced that elementary students are to return to school, altering the dynamics of classroom setup and shared materials. My students will now be learning in an environment consisting of individual supplies, PPE, and non-porous materials.

My Kindernauts are beyond excited to return to the classroom to continue their learning.

They have done a stellar job fine-tuning their academic and digital citizenship skills online, but are ready to resume class in person. I want to set up my classroom in a way that is safe and welcoming to the students.

My Project

In order to facilitate a safe return, our class will need functional storage solutions that house individual supplies, classroom-friendly materials that include plastic manipulatives, and flexible seating options that allow students to practice social distancing within the classroom. All of these materials can be easily cleaned and cared for.

Please partner with me in providing my Kindernauts the materials they need to safely re-enter the classroom this fall.

Donations made to this project will allow my students to continue their learning while minimizing the spread of germs in the classroom.
