Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our little ones work in highly engaging reading and math centers throughout the day. The materials they use are reusable and must be laminated for durability. The colorful mats used for each center include matching, sorting, and playing games and they work best for small groups of three or four students.

For many, this is the first time in school where they are creating many special projects for the very first time (their self-portraits, Mother's Day cards and many more).

They work so diligently on these special projects but at times, in route home, that work gets damaged. Sometimes, as their small hands are putting it away into their backpacks, it folds or tears. Laminating their projects will allow their work to be preserved for many years.

Unfortunately, our school laminating machine is broken, and I am unable to provide our little one with durable workstations at the time or preserve their amazing work!
