My Project

This has been one of the longest school years in quite a bit of time. Part of it could be due to the fact that we are approaching mid-April and haven't had Spring Break. Despite the reason, even the students are beginning to lose steam. However, one thing that remains consistent has been their appetites. No matter the time of the day, it is safe to say that brain fuel is always needed for our young learners.

Next month, we will end our Afterschool Literacy Program and would like to have a small celebration!

We would love to have some of the students' favorite snack items to pass out while celebrating. I remember loving Charms Blow Pops as a kid, and seeing them resurface with my students has easily reminded me of my elementary school days. The same could be said for the Jolly Ranchers I am also requesting. Outside of some of their favorites, I have added a few items to which I have been able to introduce to them. The Go-Go Squeeze Applesauce and the Black Forest Gummy Bears are quick but flavorful snacks that my Kindergarten and First-grade students enjoy. The snacks are also helpful for our students throughout the school day.

We hope you can help us have a last haul of snacks for the end of the school year and our literacy program celebration!
