My Project

Students at my school are mostly from low to moderately low-income homes, making 98% of students eligible for free lunch. Sometimes that free-lunch isn't enough to fuel my scholars for the day and they need a snack to keep them focused in class.

The funding of this project will make a huge difference in my students' learning and focus.

Snacks and stickers are a huge motivator for my students.

In addition to snacks when they're hungry, incentives are huge in engaging my students. Incentives in class serve as powerful motivators, encouraging active participation, fostering a positive learning atmosphere, and rewarding students for their efforts, ultimately enhancing overall academic performance. Chips, candy and other rewards help to foster a learning environment that is warm and caring. To keep the snacks safe from critters in the school, I need plastic bins to store them.
