I teach about 28 Kindergarten children in an inner-city neighborhood in NY. It is a high-need community and is a rewarding place to work.

A cold, hard floor is not very conducive to learning. My wonderful students' minds tend to stray when not comfortable.

An inviting and warming rug can help stimulate children's minds. They can focus more at read-alouds, get involved at circle time and will curl up to read individually or in small groups.

Your help will make it possible for my students to get the most out of their education as possible.
