My Project

My students come from incredible linguistic backgrounds, over 80 languages are spoken in our community! This means that English aquisition is very different for each of my students, some are currently at Kindergarten level, others are at 10th grade. I encourage students to keep reading in their home langauges while simultaneously growing their reading in English. A range of books will help support each different lexile and help students level up to the next reading level. It's important that students are exposed to the next level of reading as well as 8th grade level subjects. The goal is GROWTH and a LOVE OF READING!
