My Students

Unfortunately, it has become extremely difficult to be able to supply the entire sixth grade with materials needed to teach the lessons. Teaching 450 students in one week is challenging when there is so much for them to learn but they are limited to our supplies that can help provide them the education.

My sixth-graders are a diverse group of students who are eager to learn new things about themselves through Health Education.

They are curious, excited, and ready to explore everything there is about the human body and how it works from nutrition to mental health.

My Project

Since health information changes constantly, students need to stay up to date on health information. By providing my students with laptops for the classroom, they will be able to do daily research on health topics to help improve their learning. This will also help us to provide new and exciting classroom activities for the students to be a part of. The laptops would help the students use programs such as the internet, Edmodo, and Google Forms to complete class projects and assignments.

The goal is to be able to provide at least one class set of laptops to the classroom which would be used by 15+ classes daily.
