Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am hoping to receive two new laptops and headphones for students to use in class daily. Our class utilized google classroom and other digital platforms in addition to using notebooks, pen and paper.

My class is hoping to receive devices so that all students are given to opportunity to access digital recourses.

In addition to the laptops and headphones we are asking for folders. This is a necessity in every class! We have a color coding system that helps students stay organized. Our class is hoping to receive enough folders for each student to have one for every subject.

Additionally, our class is hoping to receive a small refrigerator to store materials for science! Our first unit of study is called Modeling Matter. In this unit students become food scientists! With this unit we will be exploring the properties of different foods at different states. The fridge will help safely store the food products so that we can use them across multiple lessons.

I appreciate you all helping me set my students up for success!
