My Project

Laptop stands are important because they help improve ergonomics, reduce neck and back strain, and enhance airflow to prevent overheating. By elevating the screen to eye level, they promote better posture and reduce the risk of developing discomfort from prolonged laptop use. Additionally, laptop stands can create a more organized and efficient workspace, making it easier to work comfortably for extended periods.

Inspiring middle school students is hard!

I have managed to create an environment that is conducive to learning, and laptop stands would encourage them by elevating screens to eye level, reducing strain on students' necks and backs, promoting better posture. By having laptops at proper screen height, it can enhance concentration by preventing discomfort from prolonged use. We are working on many varied writing projects, as well as the start of a newsletter, so this would be beneficial to the students.

Another goal for this project is to use the stands to lift laptops off the desk to create space for notebooks and other materials, keeping the workspace tidy, and helping students develop organizational skills.

My students are special because even though they hail from an inner city, they have so much drive and determination. I see myself in them and want to inspire them to develop to their full potential.
