Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class is a diverse class of 15 students who perseveres everyday. Of the 15 students, 3 languages are spoken: English, Spanish, and Arabic and 10 of the students are English Language Learners.

These students are witty, energetic and never fail to surprise their teachers everyday with their brilliance.

These students in the classroom love learning and are always willing to go the extra mile to improve their learning. They are always motivated, ready to learn and tackle any given task.

My Project

The use of a smartboard in my classroom is key to my instruction, and my students learning. Students are given multiple opportunities to interact with lessons being taught and projection on the smart board. Having a laptop that can keep up with the many demands of technology needed in today's classroom is also key part of my daily instruction. I will be able to use the laptop to to access and present instructional materials to my students on the smart board. My current laptop is slow and out dated. There is valuable instructional time lost waiting for my current laptop to load items for me to present on the smartboard. A new laptop will first and foremost give all my students a chance to learn from and interact with technology at a much faster pace and without the loss of valuable instructional time.
