My Project

The journalists in our newspaper classes write, edit, and publish articles to our news website, but they need a laptop in order to accomplish this goal.

Our school newspaper website wjpsnews.com is run by the students, most who take on the role of reporters for community, sports, features, technology, and opinion sections.

Our student copy editors serve as classroom leaders checking all articles for grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Articles are then sent to the managing editors and editor-in-chief to check for accuracy and objectivity. Before a final check by the teacher, articles are sent to student web editors who publish the work online.
