My Students

Our class is full of excited, eager-to-learn 1st graders, each of them from a different background bringing diversity to the table. We are in full distance learning, but each student joins in with a smile on their face and ready to take on the day.

These children are bright.

They share wonderful ideas daily. They are full of questions about the world around them. Each day, I am amazed by the ideas and discussions these children come up with!

We are learning in a different way this year. Even with this challenge of distance learning, I can see my students give me their best.

My Project

As a classroom, having a portable computer can give us many benefits. In the beginning, this computer will be used to help deliver instruction through distance learning. When we can transition into in person learning, the possibilities are endless.

This can be a tool for all.

When we transition to in person learning, we can use the laptop in centers. The students can use it as a publishing tool.

This laptop can also be a tool that the teacher can use to help students while moving throughout the classroom. The computer can help during whole group and small group instruction, progress monitoring, etc.
