My Project

Using lap desks will allow students to choose a location around the classroom that best helps them learn and stay focused. Our current seating in the classroom is limited to the chairs at their desk or the floor. Many of my students prefer to work on the floor. When my students work on the floor, they are bent over their books. This is not only bad for their posture, it strains their neck muscles which results in them focusing for a shorter time. These lap desks would provide students with a raised surface that results in a more comfortable position and longer focus.

Lapdesks are multi-functional.

They would also be beneficial to my students who prefer to do their math work while standing. The lap desks can be palced ontop of their desk so they have a writing surface at a comfortable height.
