This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students love center time and have recently begun to write.

I love giving them the opportunity to move around the room and create while being comfortable.

These lap desks would be the best addition to our center time because they would allow for my students to sit ergonomically correct. Right now they sit on the carpet while writing and I allow it as they say they are comfortable but with these lap desks I can assure that. Center time is a time for them to make choices and sometimes working on the carpet can be trying when it comes to behavior. These desks would allow for a more controlled carpet writing time.
