Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are incredible - they are 32 of the most incredibly bright, funny, adaptable, and yes, flexible students in the world! Due to COVID regulations, our 4th grade class of 32 students has been held in the library this year. They came in, and immediately adapted to the setting, but in this setting, they do not have access to seating that is typical for a 4th grade class.

While our students have access to desks, they are ill fitting and too large for students of their age group.

We want our students to be comfortable and happy in our classroom so they can do their best learning, and having the option for more flexible seating they can arrange in the library during whole and small group instruction will help them to do this. The floor desks will allow students to do this and take their learning into a more engaging and comfortable setting.

We want to give them the resources they deserve and continue to support their learning and happiness!
