Language Class Basics

My Students

My students are like middle schoolers in any other public city school. They are young enough to be sensitive, and old enough to be bold and assertive. We are a diverse population with lots of talents and interests. My class is not only focused on developing language skills, but also social and emotional skills. They enjoy a challenge with proper supports. Any contribution will go towards developing their unique skills and talents. My students look forward to graciously accepting your generosity and putting it to use in the classroom ASAP.

My Project

Studying a language means lots of writing. Too often, budgets get in the way of students bringing what they need. By helping me supply paper, pencils and a sharpener - you're helping me skip the embarrassing part of who doesn't have what they need and jumping right to showing off their writing skills.

Students will use paper, pencils and sharpeners every day.

Student assignments include brainstorming, drawing, creating dialogue, diagramming, editing and more. Unfortunately, these consumables are a repeating need for our kids and having them prepped and ready to go the first day eliminates many obstacles.
