My Project

Hello!

I am working in a high needs school that often struggles to provide quality educational tools for engaging science curricula.

My classroom is a highly dynamic space that aims to provide an authentic approach to science methods. These whiteboards will create a collaborative space for my students to write down their thoughts as they participate in the scientific process. As I innovate in my classroom, I am working to create an engaging phenomenon-based curriculum that requires students to work through problems together and adjust their explanations throughout each unit.

My goal is to receive 9 large whiteboards for my classroom, one for each provided lab station. These 3'x2' whiteboards will provide a space for my students to jot down their ideas as a group and adjust their notes as they explore each scientific phenomenon. This will not only be beneficial for engaging in science, but also to provide a space for students to interact with each other and build communication skills.
