My Project
Since earth month, my students have been learning about our planet and they are inspired! They have been walking around the building turning off lights and pulling plastic bottles out of the trash cans and moving them to recycling. They are bringing in reusable water bottles and utensils. And they have gone through their old clothes and toys to select items for donation.
In order to tie these environmentally friendly practices into nature study, I would like to expose the students to some of nature's helpers with inset observation kits for ladybugs, butterflies, and ants.
From eating aphids that destroy our leaves to pollinating our flowers, these tiny creatures do more to benefit our planet in one day than many people do in a week. Please help provide us with the resources to help our students learn all about these insects that help keep our planet green.
