Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The air smells like spring! That means it is almost time for first grade to get their hands dirty in our school garden!

This project will bring valuable books and resources about ladybugs to my first-grade classroom for my students to learn while observing ladybugs grow!

Ladybugs are an invaluable member of any garden. They eat aphids, which seem to love our school garden!

I will be able to read nonfiction and fiction books to teach my students about ladybugs. They will be able to use the other requested resources to understand the anatomy and life cycle of ladybugs. I cannot wait for my students to observe the life cycle of ladybugs! It is always exciting to watch my students in awe of nature! Thank you for your support!
