This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During and after the COVID-19 Pandemic, lab experiences were often less than desirable. While students were entirely online, lab experiences had to be virtual using software which, while somewhat useful, lacked the hands-on aspect that makes science and agriculture classes unique and real-world. The few hands-on labs we could do were using household materials rather than true scientific equipment.

By receiving these materials such as lab glassware and safety aprons, my students will be able to engage in meaningful, hands-on learning experiences and apply the concepts that we are discussing in class in a real-world environment with the proper equipment and materials.
