My Project

My classroom is a special education classroom in an inclusive school. My students are amazing and love hand on learning activities. We have many amazing learning units. In November, we dive deep into learning the American Indian way of life. The tent and wonderful play-based items will help students understand the native culture.

I will be mixing in many literacy-based activities into our science and history lessons.

Also, our class also has a month-long Space unit in March. All of these space toys and art supplies will help my students learn the material more clearly. In April and May, students learn about nature, planting and flowers.

All of these wonderful learning tools will guide my students by providing scaffolding and fun nature-based activities.
