My Project

Knitting is a great way for students to learn the process of weaving in the art room and my students are so deserving of having an accessible machine to help them at an elementary level.

With this donation of knitting machines, my students in early elementary will have a chance to make a knitted cap for a loved one to give as a gift and also have the opportunity to knit caps to give to community members that are in need.

In the past my students haven't had the opportunity or ability to knit in a developmentally appropriate way that meets them at their basic skill level. With these machines not only will my regular ed students benefit from having these devices, but also my students in life skills and autistic support. These machines make knitting possible for elementary students.

My students and I thank you for dropping by our donation project an extremely grateful for any donations to our cause.
