My Students

Our students walk into the classroom excited and ready to learn every day. Everyone of them is unique in their own way. Each student has a disability and they are in a self-contained classroom. They come from a variety of economic and cultural backgrounds. They enjoy every aspect of school whether it is mastering a new skill, interacting with other students and teachers or just being together in their classroom singing and learning.

Our students work hard every day and do so with smiles on their faces.

They take great pride in everything they do.

My Project

This table will enable our students to see the teacher and access the materials being used. This allows us to work with the student better that our research based programs are designed to be use. It will enable the teachers to keep the lessons flowing by being able to turn quickly to each student to interact in the lessons. It allows the students to interact closely with each other, the teachers and the materials being used. The table will allow our students in wheelchairs to also easily access the materials.

This table is need as we are transitioning from two classes into one.

We will be co-teaching and this enables us to better accommodate the increased number of students and teachers we will have in the classroom.
