My Project

I am starting a new Severe Profound classroom for exceptional students. My students need special tools and equipment to function in a classroom. I will have none of these things for the beginning of the school year.

My wish list will provide alternative ways for learning, supplies to accommodate fine motor deficits, and give interactive life skills activities to keep the students engaged and have fun at the same time.

Students will learn functional skills, like tying shoes and zipping clothing, navigating through a kitchen and how to prepare something to eat. The adaptive writing implements and slant boards will help make them successful in the classroom.The items are truly a necessity for their school day.

My goal is to have a fun, accessible, and diverse classroom for these sweet students.
