Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten is a fun and busy grade! My kindergarten students are fun, happy, and eager to learn new things. They can't wait to see what project they will engage in each week.

At this time, my students are writing, reading, creating, computing, and engaging across the curriculum.

Since I am responsible for teaching all subjects to my students, including art, my students would benefit greatly from the requested supplies of beginner's crayons, the Cricut Mini Press, standard grip mats for our Cricut machine, ink pads, glue gun, scratch paper, magnetic sheets, laminating sheets, transfer tape and double sided tape. These items will serve as resources for my students to use for general classroom assignments and art projects.

The general class supplies will provide students with the necessary resources to work independently and in groups in a creative classroom. The mobile white board will be used for our writing and teacher led center. Students will be able to write, plan and create information with this moveable white board. I will also benefit from this board as I move from group to group during differentiated instruction.

The toner will provide us with ink for printing stories and art projects. Other general classroom items are needed for classroom organization. File folders, parent/teacher folders, sticky notes, student name plates, magnets, window clings, Flair tip pens, an electronic stapler and treasure box toys will promote good classroom behavior. We are also requesting Hanukkah stamps and dreidels.

Lastly, I would like to provide my students with a fun, memorable graduation. With items such as the star sunglasses, the lightbulb treat holders, diplomas and the kindergarten medals, I will be able to provide my students with an unforgettable kindergarten graduation.
