This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Pre-K students enjoy visiting the sensory table as part of their center time play. We are in need of kinetic sand to fill our sensory table. Kinetic sand is a popular sensory material used in Pre-K to enhance early development skills.

With your help our young learners will have kinetic sand which will support their fine motor skill development.

Manipulating kinetic sand will help our young learners improve their hand-eye coordination, finger strength, and dexterity. They will have the opportunity to practice skills like scooping, molding, rolling, and shaping, which are important for writing and other hand-related tasks.

Our young learners will enhance their creativity and imagination as they play with kinetic sand. The pliable nature of kinetic sand encourages open-ended play. Our Pre-K students can create various shapes, structures, and designs, promoting imaginative thinking and problem-solving.

Our young learners will benefit so much with your help as they improve early stages of their development through sensory play.
