My Project

One of the kindergarten readiness skills includes using small precise finger and hand movements. Some of my students need more practice in refining wrist and finger movement for more control.

Kinetic sand is beneficial in supporting physical development such as fine motor skills.

Kinetic sand provides a range of sensory experiences for children while having fun. Social and emotional development also can be supported by engaging with the kinetic sand as children may find it calming and relaxing.

For all students to be ready to start kindergarten, kinetic sand will help provide opportunities for my students to develop their fine motor skills!
