Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As our young learners embark on their educational journey, it is crucial to provide them with engaging materials that inspire creativity, promote learning, and foster a positive environment. Your donation will help provide essential tools and resources that will make a world of difference in their learning experience.

With the tools listed below, our classroom will be equipped with both the physical and emotional support needed to create an engaging, comfortable, and effective learning environment.

What We Need:

Kinetic Sand (for sensory learning and creativity)

Kinetic sand provides a hands-on, tactile experience for young children, helping them develop fine motor skills while enhancing their creativity and problem-solving abilities. We will specifically use this for a STEAM project, as well as reinforcement for writing letters and numbers!

Book Pouches (for organizing materials and promoting independence)

Book pouches are essential for keeping students’ personal reading materials and digital learning tools organized. These pouches will also encourage students to be more independent and responsible for their belongings. By providing each student with a pouch, we can keep classroom materials organized, ensuring a smooth transition between activities.

A new teacher chair, to be provided for the "Star" student as well as any adult that is in our room and needs an "adult" chair! In addition, we will use the coffee cups for a STEAM project!!

As any educator knows, maintaining energy and focus throughout the school day is crucial. These materials will help to keep the students engaged and ready for the next activity!
