Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 21 PK/K kiddos walk into the room with smiles on their faces and ready to see what new learning experiences awaits. They love having different materials to observe, use and explore. Every day my students inspire me by their enthusiasm, care for one another and the love they show for learning!

My Project

Hands-on learning is a fun and engaging way to learn in Pre-K and Kindergarten! Students love to learn through building and creativity! To help accomplish this, we are looking to add a "Write the Letter Activity Center", "Sigh-Word Journals", and "Number Practice Book' for our classroom. These new centers will help my students by practicing their letter recognition, number recognition and also help their hand writing skills! The materials will be used at school for individual choice time and small group lessons. Our writing centers will take advantage of physical activities, and is a learning style that is different than listening or watching a lesson!
