My Students

My students love to move, move, move. But we don't have any equipment to help us explore different ways of staying active.

I have 25 wonderful kindergarteners who love to learn just about everything and anything.

This is the year that sets the foundation for the fundamentals of reading, writing, and math. Physical education and health are no exception. They are kinesthetic and enjoy movement that helps them develop coordination and balance skill.

My Project

To help them learn new skills and remain active, our class needs physical education equipment. They will be engaged in activities that develop a sense of space, agility, and coordination with hula hoops, balance with hula hoops and balance buckets, hand-eye coordination with tee-ball sets, and teamwork with all of this equipment. Students will learn to appreciate what it means to be outdoors as they participate in fun physical games.

We all know that a lack of exercise is a major contributor to poor health.

It is a growing epidemic in America. This is why it's so important that students develop an enjoyment for physical activity at an early age. Getting them involved in outdoor games keeps them engaged and instills a love for staying fit and active! Help my students stay healthy by contributing to our need of physical education equipment.
