My Project

At our school we implemented a "Kindness Club." The Kindness Club educates students in effective communication utilizing random acts of kindness, allowing them to navigate conflicts, convey their emotions, engage in student mentorship, and promote a culture of kindness. Through the Kindness Club, students will extend kindness throughout the school and community. Kindness Club serves as a safe space for sharing kind ideas and actions, seeking to establish kindness as a daily norm at our elementary school through monthly meetings focused on promoting kindness in classrooms and the surrounding neighborhood.

We want to recognize and celebrate student achievements by creating opportunities to publicly acknowledge and reward students who exemplify kindness.

Rewards include lanyards, bracelets, books and stickers.

Ms. Whyte Cliftondale Elementary School Grades 3-5

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.

Equity Focus
