This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help the amazing students in my classroom soar to new heights with the support of various sensory materials! In my classroom, I have 6 wonderful students ranging from Kindergarten to 2nd grade. Each student is unique in their very own way. Sensory needs vary for each student, which is why I have chosen this project to help support them throughout the school day.

These sensory items will be used daily to increase and improve engagement during various lessons and activities.

Our students demonstrate remarkable dedication throughout the school day. They particularly enjoy incorporating movement breaks and exploring diverse sensory items into their routine. These sensory tools play a crucial role in enhancing their concentration during lessons and providing support when they experience moments of distress or anxiety. In addition, iPads can assist my students practice higher learning activities that can help build their knowledge each day. If these items are received, rest assured that my students will wholeheartedly embrace and consistently utilize them throughout the entire school day!
