Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I attended Roosevelt schools from Kindergarten to 12th grade, and it is so awesome to have the chance to teach here as well! The majority of my students are low socioeconomic but they all LOVE technology! Roosevelt is a small rural community so technology opportunities are not as available as a large community. My kids come to school with so much energy and excitement to learn. I want to provide more opportunities for my students to learn in different ways.

My Project

Thank y'all so much for helping me fund my project of five Kindle Fires! I know the kids are going to enjoy them and get a lot of use out of them! I want to make sure the Kindles stay protected and I need your help to achieve this! I am requesting five Kindle Fire kid proof cases as well as a new speaker to go in my classroom! The new speaker will be a huge help because a lot of my lesson introduction is shown through video example. This speaker will allow the students to better understand the examples that will be shown on the board. I also have some fun math songs that the kids love to listen too!
