Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

There are 23 lovable and silly students in my class.

They are ready to learn and soak in everything at a moments notice. My school is made up of lower income families, but that never phases any one of my students. They are amazing and I want them to leave my classroom every day with a smile on their faces.

My Project

I have a listening center, but no books on tape. This requested set of picture book read alongs is essential for my classroom, so I can have a listening center rotation for the students. My students absolutely love hearing stories from me, and will love having these stories to follow and listen to. They will learn how a book works, turning pages, reading fluently, etc.

This donation will better my students' lives by teaching them how to read fluently.

They love listening to stories, and my goal for them is to be able to read to themselves when they leave my classroom.
