My Students

I teach a class of 24 fantastic kindergartners. My students are eager for hands-on adventures and challenges in learning. Our school loves the arts, and we integrate art and technology with our academics. We are a great multicultural family that loves to have fun as we learn! Many of my students speak a language other than English at home. All students receive free breakfast daily, and over 35% receive free or reduced-price lunch.

My students are excited to learn and love working in centers, especially when they are using technology.

Their favorite online program to use is Starfall. We need a Chromebook so we have enough laptops for my students to use during center time.

My Project

I have requested a Chromebook so my students can work online and practice their math and reading skills using the online program Starfall. Each day, during center time, my students work on the computers we have in class. We just don't have enough computers for all of my students who want to work on the computer.

You would be amazed by how focused my students are during computer time.

They are learning sight words and practicing math skills, too, while working online. Your help in donating to this project means that we will have one more piece of technology for my students to use this year and for future years.
