My Students

I teach a class of 24 fantastic kindergartners. My students are eager for hands-on adventures and challenges in learning. Our school loves the arts, science, and reading, and we integrate art and technology with our academics. We are a great multicultural family that loves to have fun as we learn! Many of my students speak a language other than English at home. All students receive free breakfast daily, and over 32% receive free or reduced-price lunch.

My students love working with technology, so I want to get a digital camera that they photograph with and a color printer so we can print their images.

My Project

I am requesting a color printer, ink cartridges, and a digital camera so my students can explore the world around them. They will be photographing activities in the classroom and on the playground too.

This will help my students feel empowered as they capture their vision of the world.

We will use the color printer to create different photography exhibitions of my student's photographs.

These photographs will be great for discussions as we contrast what each student chose to take a picture of. Having a rotating display of their photos will inspire my students to write about their photographs and the photographs of their classmates too.
