This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My scholars are an energetic group of kids who have a passion for learning! They are on their individual journeys to college and give their education their all, to make sure they succeed!

Scholars in my class are passionate young learners ready to explore the world through hands-on experiences!

I try and it make it my personal mission, each year, to ensure that my scholars experience as many opportunities as possible!

Being such young minds, my kindergartners are eager to learn literacy through the use of games and activities that will get them moving around the classroom and excited to learn more!

My Project

These materials will provide my scholars with the ability to work independently, with hands-on activities! Building words with stamps and filling in missing sounds of words- all activities to get these energetic little minds and hands moving!

With these tools, scholars in my class will be able to build (and take apart) words, to practice reading and writing!

One of the biggest battles in teaching such young children, is getting them to enjoy learning. With the use of these games and center activities, scholars will be excited to learn while playing! Oftentimes people forget that such young scholars are still young children, they need fun and games! I want to give that to them through the application of hands-on literacy centers!
