Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, my classroom supports children with significant trauma. Many of the children have a hard time sitting still. I am requesting wiggle stools, and rocking seats for rug time.

Please help me provide a more nurturing space for my students.

Students learn best when their bodies and minds are calm. Providing seating that allows them to get the wiggles out will allow their learning to grow.

Our class is focused on social-emotional learning. As students learn what works for them, they are encouraged to advocate for things they need.
