Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This has been a challenging year for my kindergraten team and I. Our school has gone through some big changes and our kids have been a little more challenging bevhiorally than years past. However, this group of kindergrarteners has been extremely successful in both reading and math.

Amongst all of Kindergarten - We have almost 80% proficiency in both reading and math.

Our kids this year have dont an amazing job with the new curriculum we've been using and the learning has STUCK! This is huge for our kiddos!

We want to give them all a little something special during our end of the year graduation ceremony to show just how proud of them we are.

I would also like to think about our writing curriculum for next year so I am asking for primary composition books to help ensure we make writing just as strong as our reading and math.
