Hello! I am Katie Vondy, a second-year kindergarten teacher. In my first year of teaching (last year) I relied heavily on my kinder team to support me and provide materials for literacy and math stations, as well as furniture for my classroom. After completing year one, I now have a better understanding of what my classroom and my students need in order to truly thrive! In an effort to cut down on items on top of tables and to avoid shuffling around and passing materials out, I am requesting seatback pockets to hold various student items such as workbooks. I also would love to spruce up my literacy and math stations with manipulatives like the magnetic tiles, sentence building, and Elkonin boxes activities. I am looking to improve my teaching every year, and being gifted these items would help tremendously. Thank you for taking the time to look over my project!
