Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students are going to be starting the coming school year as we've never done before. We have not been instructed on what fall will look like, but we know we need to be ready for any scenario.

When our school closed in March, we scrambled to get supplies for our students to have at home, as the majority of our students do not have the ability and access to learning online.

My students loved school and we tried to make learning still fun and exciting, even during these challenging times. All of our incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students would benefit from having these tools, no matter if we are learning at school or at home.

My Project

I want to help provide additional organization tools and materials for all incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students, whether we are doing our learning at school or at home. Every year, we ask parents to donate supplies for their children. But this year due to COVID-19, many families may have been out of work or have had a significant reduction in income.

Our families should not need to worry about providing these school supply items for their children during this unprecedented time.

We want all of our students to have the same supplies available to them, no matter the circumstances.
