My Students

My Kindergarten students are thoughtful, creative, outgoing, and diverse. They love hands-on, engaging lessons that challenges them and let's them explore their learning. My students are writers (authors), mathematicians, scientist, and readers. My class is diverse with students with different backgrounds and experiences. They inspire me every day! I love watching them grow academically and socially!

We would be so honored if you would help our Kindergarten class become even more innovative and reach new heights in their learning!

My Project

This new Promethean board will make a TREMENDOUS impact in all 20 Kindergarten students' learning. We will use it to practice our phonic, reading, and writing skills. Additionally, the interactive board will become a mathematics learning resources as we will use it daily to learn our numbers along with decomposing, adding, and subtracting. Students can be also engage with the touch screen and writing features of this board. This year is hard for my Kindergarten students! Due to Covid we are restricted in what we can do as a class. Kindergarten has always been successful because we are very hands-on, small group, pair-share partners, center-skilled learning environment. However, my students are hainvg to sit at their tables with social distancing and not sharing a lot of resources. We are using a lot of Power points to teach our lessons. A Promethean board will help keep my students engaged in more guided practice and make them part of the lessons again.
