My Project

Students learn best when their instruction is presented in a variety of different mediums. These will be used in numerous settings to maximize the potential learning outcomes. Individually, students will use the materials during independent instruction to depict their personal thoughts. In small group and full-class lessons, these materials, such as anchor chart easel paper, sticky notes, and markers, can serve to help students collaborate together as a learning team.

These creative tools provide the artistic outlet that inspires students to actively engage in their education.

Some of the most beneficial learning occurs when students create and portray their own opinions through colorful and artistic depictions. Not only will these tools increase students’ academic potential, but they will also inspire the students’ enjoyment of the learning process. Comfy pillows and pillow covers will create a nurturing and inviting space for reading.

Additionally, other classroom supplies, such as sensory toys and erasers will both be used as reinforcers to motivate students. Salt, flour, and cream or tartar are ingredients that will be used to make Playdough for centers and also be used in the "calming area." Students learn best through positive reinforcement. These materials will serve as a way to create positive behaviors throughout the day.
