Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is Title 1, at risk school, with a population of over 70% English Language Learners. My students come to school to laugh, learn, be loved, and to eat a healthy meal.

We provide 100% free breakfast and lunch for our students everyday.

We are working very hard to help the students accomplish their dreams, reach their goals, and most importantly, graduating from college and becoming successful. Kindergarten is the foundation that prepares kids for the rest their lives! Graduating class of 2038 here we come!

My Project

The writing journals will be used daily to develop the kids writing skills They will be used to practice their letters, names, sight words, and sentences. Each student having a personal composition book will allow the students and myself to keep track of their daily progress. The wipe and erase sheets are helpful with saving on paper and ink. The sentence builder game is helpful for the students when learning how to build sentences on their own. All these resources will be essential to the development and growth of reading and writing for the students.
