My Project

I have 24 enthusiastic students who enjoy learning. If there’s one thing that they desire more than anything else is to READ. As a teacher, my pride and joy comes from giving the gift of reading. Phonemic awareness is a major component of Kindergarten curriculum. Research indicates that children who have learned strong phonological awareness acquire reading with greater ease and success than children who haven’t.

Therefore, I wish to implement this phonics reading program that is highly recommended by educators and have been successful for early literacy skills.

It is systematic, phonics-based early reading program. I would group my students according to their level to provide individualized instruction in phonemic awareness.

Your donation will bring confidence and excitement to my students because they will graduate kindergarten knowing how to read!
