This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very curious and engaged learners. They love to participate in hands on experiences. The LED writing boards will give them the opportunity to each have an individual board to participate in whole group literacy and math activities. For example, if I am teaching sight words on the promethean board, the students can follow along on their boards and write the sight word along with me, or in Math I can display an addition equation and they can use their boards to write the answer. The small flashlights I would use for whole group reading. The students will use the flashlights to point to words as they read.
