Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Most of us end up with no more than five or six people who remember us. Teachers have thousands of people who remember them for the rest of their lives." -Andy Rooney My 22 happy and energetic students love everything about learning. By the end of the year, I want most of my students to read!

When you walk into my kindergarten classroom, you are greeted by 22 happy and energetic students.

They are so excited every day to learn all the kindergarten skills. My school consists of lower income families, so many of these students don't even have a computer at home. There are only two computers in my classroom, so having this iPad mini would be a third piece of technology for my students!

My Project

Every single student will be able to use this iPad mini no matter what skill it is. They can use apps that will help them with letters, phonics, reading, math, and simple computer skills. This will be the third source of technology in my classroom for the students to benefit from! Technology is getting bigger and better by the day.

Most of my students do not have a computer or any source of technology at home.

Being introduced to an iPad mini will benefit all their learning abilities. It can help a child learn their letter sounds or how to add. Technology is so important for our learning right now, and with the right tools my students can succeed. This iPad mini will be a great donation for my kindergarten classroom!
