Help me give my students hands-on math centers that will allow them to visualize the foundational math skills needed to become number sense math experts.
Help me get math center games to help bring excitement to my math lessons. The tens frames would help students learn to quickly recognize numbers, and the counting games and addition and subtraction games will help with learning facts. The games requested will all help with math sense and make it more engaging.
A student that loves math is a student that would not be afraid of it.
With the help of centers and games, I could foster an environment where students will learn important foundational skills in math and at the same time, not be afraid of it.
Hands-on centers are a helpful way to introduce new skills, and concepts and learn how to take turns. It is definitely more fun learning while playing a game. I would love to foster a positive attitude towards math in the early grades, hoping it will carry over to upper-grade success.
