My Students

Our kindergarten is located in a unique and diverse urban setting in northern New Jersey. This community strives to help all learners meet their potential regardless of their backgrounds. We strive to provide a safe place for students to grow through a variety of methods.

The district motto, "That each may learn," reflects this goal and is the hallmark of every classroom and building within the district.

Differentiated instruction and individualized instruction are the keys to achieving in our classrooms!

My Project

With your donation, my students will be able to receive the art supplies they need to help reading come to life! The construction paper will be used to create word art using sight words. They will then be laminated and hung around the room. The scissors and glue will be used to cut and glue these pieces accordingly. This project really helps the students retain sight words that they learn but the materials have to be repurchased frequently since they consumables. However, students who successfully create sight words this way are more likely to not only remember the words but also use them in their own writing projects.
