My Students

I will be working with students that either is diagnosed with speech impairment or learning disabilities this year. My students are from age 5 to 7. The majority of them are English Language Learners who might not attend full-time school before. They live in homes with non-English speaking parents or caretakers.

My students are of Asian descent with 99% of them receiving free or reduced school meals.

They are excited about learning and they come to school every day with hope, expectations, and enthusiasm. Your donation truly makes a difference. Thank you very much!

My Project

Having these supplies for our literacy centers will help enhance my students learning. Our center time is a very important time of our day, where the students have a sense of independence while they are working. Having these supplies allows them the opportunity to have an abundance of resources to use to better learn and grow in the skills they are practicing.

The best part of our literacy centers is when a student can have the confidence to accomplish a skill independently and successfully.

They enjoy having the time to learn in a way that they can work at their own pace and ability. These supplies will be very beneficial for reading, spelling, and creating. The Phonics Sentence Match board games will help my students building up skills of how to decoding the words and sounds out the words.
